drmweaver2 -> It's gonna be a long day.... (5/6/2019 9:03:25 PM)

Just after 9am on day 2 of a (restarted) '44 Long Campaign - as the thread title says: "It's gonna be a long day..."
Most non-recon missions were against radar sites or airbases.

End of turn "losses" numbers: 206 Allied/ 254 Axis
KIA's: 103/90

Fun, fun, fun 'til mah Daddy took mah T-bird away!

You might be 90% OK with starting a campaign with the beta, but I would wait for the final official patch to get all the data and code updates we did between beta and final. It won't be long now. [:)]

My title for this thread is meant to be tongue in cheek, not a criticism in any way.

So, you're probably right.

I just "restarted" because I ran into 25 blank lines in one screen and decided that was too many. This after you mentioned in another thread that some of my "problems" could be from continuing a v3 game after installing the v4 beta patch rather than restarting. I don't think I did that BUT might have.

Since I'm going to restart in a couple days anyway, after the patch release becomes official, I figured I actually lose nothing by restarting/playing a few turns and utilizing some of my "lessons learned" over the last ~50 turns...

And I'd never seen that many aircraft on screen at once, so I just threw that in to "add flavor". FWIW, that day's turn took over an hour and a half to run after hitting START (on a system with an i4790/16GB RAM/500GB SSD system). Lots of "is it infinitely looping or running" thoughts ran through my head.
