Javolenus -> New DLC crash (5/9/2019 9:54:44 PM)

Just bought & installed the new DLC (after installing latest patch). Generated a battle (Italy v Yugoslavia) but after a few minutes got a very brief error message (something about a "missing resource"?) & the game crashed. My system is Win10 Professional with Intel HD2500 graphics.

Do you have something listed in the error.log file in the game root folder?

Avast tends to produce weird issues. You may want to add an exception in your virus protection software, or disable it.

Hi and many thanks for the reply.

Checking the game's error log, I found the following line:

[Thu May 9 22:45:47 2019] ERROR: Resource not found: is_1rc75l_still

***

As for Avast AV software--I uninstalled it weeks ago (replaced with McAfee) & long before installing & updating Armored Brigade, and so I'm unsure how it could be a factor (?).

Thanks again & best wishes!

Thanks for reporting this. The Italian 75mm and 80mm recoilless rifles seem to have a couple of misnamed resources. We will release a hotfix.

Avast is not the issue in this case, but sometimes it has prevented the game from loading weapon sounds, so Avast can be a potential cause for missing file issues.

Hi & many thanks for swift reply. Appreciated! Ah, OK--I will apply the hotfix when ready! :-)
