I just watched this and if you have 25 minutes, check it out. Kingman's last blast was a monster. I remember this game. Buckner, Schmidt, McGraw, Rose, Bowa, McBride, Boone, some good ball players

Thanks for the memories. My brother and I moved to a new town that summer and baseball was our life. Great game, Cubs at Wrigley and those 70's Phils uniforms. Happened to be wearing the retro shirt today when I saw this post.

I was listening to wfan this morning and they were talking about this game from 40 years ago. I remember reading the news the next day and they had articles of the game, plus I liked Kingman. Man, he could hit them a mile, I wonder what sky king is doing now, never hear about him.

He owns a Tennis club in Lake Tahoe. Has three kids two in college one in high school. Retired he enjoys his boat. hes happily retired.
