(Build 1009.27.14/DB3000 Build 477) I noticed that NOCOMM UAV behaves as if they are unassigned
even if they assigned to mission.

Here is test: RQ-170, RQ-4B, U-2S and F-16CM are flying to support mission area.
I created "Communication Jamming" Special action to get 4 units to the out of communication.

After Communication Jamming, U-2S and F-16CM try to reach mission area.
However, RQ-170 and RQ-4B circles around (also ignores waypoint in Isolated POV view).

Yeah, it's simply because communication from Airbase "Cockpit" or GPS satellite to UAV are now cut off.
I guess it as intended behavior but posted anyway.

I'm totally ignorance about modern UAV technologybut don't they have
some backup like autonomous navigation system for the very this case?

If UAV uses the GPS signal to know its position and to move, the only safeguard would be 'Do not move, we arrive'. A helicopter would be hovering and a plane would turn in circles).
