There was other named Phoenix or some like that never released ambiented in Corea War.

Red Phoenix was a CC branded game that (IIRC) Destineer was planning but never saw the light of day. Like Destineer's "First to Fight" game it did not use the original CC engine.

Hi Steve,

Close Combat V: The Road to Baghdad (ver. 5#01#00) #2004 (remake CC Marines) Destineer Studios & Bold Games, Global Star Software.
Don't know where this game came from?

Best regards,
Anatoly.

Military only I believe.

Did Last Stand Arnhem actually use CC2 and it's unique campaign system? Or use a more recent engine just using similar maps etc?

Though I played a lot of CC3 it's CC2 battles that really stick with me. I can remember more maps from that game than 3. The urban fighting was excellent. Maybe I have rose coloured glasses on but it did urban fighting better than anything since it feels. Take the great CMBB I thought it struggled and wasn't fun city fighting, CM2 is much better in that respect. Graviteam don't even try to do it, sticking to villages at most. CC2 just went for it.

I think Road to Baghdad was the final CC game Atomic Games released and it was based on their CC Marines work. That was before I was involved with CC so I don't know anything beyond that.

Steve
