The music and sound effects are fragmented and stutter. This doesn't happen every time I load the game. I am using windows 10.

Have you tried switches in the shortcut? If so, post your complete shortcut path to the .exe file and the switch string that you have. Copy it and paste to ensure it is exactly the same here as you have it in your shortcut.

In particular, the -multiaudio switch is probably applicable here. See my signature to download SeaBee - it will help you configure your switches. Ask questions if you run into any snags.
