This is one of the best wargames out there and the inclusion of the personalities and decisions as well as stances and an excellent take on logistics combined with the fact that this genre is nice on a good day demands that a sequel be made!

Developers you did an amazing job and I have never regretted my purchase for a second. Please for the sake of historical gaming give us another game in this series that takes into account all the outstanding features in this iteration!

I'd say that a decisive campaigns based in the Sino-Japanese front would be really cool.

What would be even better is one on the entire Pacific war both in China and the Pacific island campaigns.

I know that's probably a pipe dream. I just cant be the only one who is desperate for some kind of spiritual successor to war in the Pacific. Considering how damned difficult it is just to get that game to run on a modern system plus even then its absurdly, ridiculously slow, and pretty much all ww2 wargames take place in the western theater or are very narrow in scope in the Pacific I get desperate for a game to fill that niche.

Yes I know there's hoi4 but those developers dont do anything for years at a time. The vanilla version is subpar at best even three years after release which is pretty pathetic imo but I don't want to get anymore into that.

Whatever the sequel is ipl buy it and recommend it to everyone I know even people on the street! We absolutely must have wargames that dont just iterate but innovate which is just what this game did.

Just the thoughts of someone almost unhealthily obsessed with the genre!

That would be great! I'm a new player, but loving the game so far. It's my first in-depth Operational computer game, beyond HOI4 and Unity of Command (both great!)

I am wondering if there are any plans for the future ? Are there any ?

Any plans to leverage on the engine and to build some scenarious / add-ons ?
Ideed the customer base is small but i presume loyal, mature and less sensetive to price.

Developes like John Tiller Software and Battlefront have been harvesting steady cashflows from the same engine for many years by adding a different scenarios/war theaters/conflicts.

Everyone wanted the timeline extended on this game, another 6 months or one year. Lancer and Vic did a great job and the game is unique. Lancer was pretty up front that the game just didn't sell enough to justify the work it took to build. It's a dam shame but it is what it is.

If this is your first Decisive Campaigns games the others are worth getting for sure. The other games don't have the RPG aspects but there good war games and i especially like Warsaw to Paris, it's pretty well balanced for both sides. There is also ATG [Advanced Tactics Gold], another of Vic's games. ATG is kind of a war game sandbox, a bit of a wargame 4x kind of.

Vic's new game coming out is Shadow Empire, i believe its coming out this year. It's looks to have some RPG elements like DCB. https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tt.asp?forumid=1753

I hope that Shadow Empires (which I plan to buy as it looks like a lot of fun) enables a DC Western Front or even something in the pacific.

One can hope, and I fully agree that this is one of if not the best computer wargames out there. I cant succeed as the Germans but it is a great game nonetheless!
