Looking for an opponent (either side), s2 or mod of your choice to be discussed. Reasonably experienced...~8 years playing this game...one 1945 pbem under my belt, many into '42. Pace would be 1-2 turns a day, more if you are interested. Planning to have my friend as a second chair to keep a steady pace up. He's decently experienced as well. Us East
Coast timezone based.

Bonus points for anyone considering doing dueling AARs with a long time lurker, first time poster.

As the sloppy second in this matchup, excited to play someone from this awesome group! AARs are a great way to look busy at work.

I would be interested in playing scenario 2 as japan. I had responded to Edelmarder in his request for an opponent for a historical game. I think i was out of line trying to suggest a non historical start and suggested that there should be somebody else readily available to do a historical start. I would rather have a PBEM with a little flexibility at least at the start. I would like to do an AAR as well. I haven't done one and would like to do one as a way to learn more from some of the really good players here. I am on the u.s. east coast and can do 10 - 15 turns per week maybe more depending on timing. Please let me know. Thanks

Hello,
So as someone that will be starting this game very soon.
Playing this seems very daunting task because its so encompassing.
What would be the best way to start?

Cheering on fellow AFBs against the dark side is too much fun [sm=sterb029.gif]

Great question. There are a few forum posts on this very topic. I'd encourage you to browse the forum and find better answers than I can provide, but the short response is: try one of the shorter campaigns to learn the game mechanics, keep the manual handy, and read AARs.

I'm interested in a 1v2 game [:D][:D] scen 02 is fine with my lovely allied by my side. im on CEST but i can do 1 or 2 turn a day, i just require no cv hunts on turn 1 and to pay PP to transfer units across nat borders
