Is there a way to launch boats or aircraft that are assigned to a base via LUA?

I can determine the condition using the code below, but both condition and condition_v are READONLY attributes.

u = ScenEdit_GetUnit({name="USS San Jacinto"})
print(u)
print(u.condition)

Any help would be appreciated...tm

There isn't really an option to do this directly. It does sound like a 'sound' idea though; would complement unit RTB.
So I will look at adding a 'launch' option to the unit wrapper for future release. This would handle both aircraft and boat units.
