Are you one for a clean UI and simple menu or do you need dialogs with critical information at hand all the time. Time to weigh in on this new topic. [8D]

What you have now in the way of UI feels about right to me...……

I quite like what is there at the moment. Yet, I voted for tons of panels, as I quite like how 4K monitors are becoming a commodity, and how W10 offers desktop scaling in an easy to use manner.

Edit: In other words: Why not? [8D]

I like seeing more information myself.

I invested on an ultrawide Samsung 34" 3440x1440 monitor a while ago, I had a double HD set-up previously. No going back, so nice to have everything on one screen.

Windows 10 desktop scaling does quite a spiffy work, too. At first I reverted to 125% scaling, but lately I've moved to 100% as-is view. Email and stuff I need to zoom-up a bit, but most games work very nicely there, without things getting too small.

Those new UI screenshots on the other thread look were very nice, I am quite looking towards the new Southern Storm experience. With the new monitor, even [:)]

I like the current UI except for all the clunkiness of which I have criticised here before. It's good but it needs a huge amount of polish to be faster and easier to use. A wargame doesn't have to mean the UI is terrible to use or unintuitive but it seems to be a standard of the niche. I voted for the last option.

Searry, what would you do to fix the "clunkiness" of the current UI?

I like it as is. F6 and F2 is all you need.

Sorry, I cannot really elaborate better now since I have gotten used to it. If I recall, one problem was the inverted map scrolling which I found out was an option. So user error.

I'm late to the party but I would have taken 2 (a few information panels)

I'd like to add that I don't enjoy drag and drop deployment; would rather 'left click select, right click deploy'.
