J Hutton -> Multiple siege attempts by allies (7/1/2003 8:31:02 AM)
|
Being new to the forum, I don't know if this issue has come up. If not, it may be something that Matrix needs to take note of. When two nations are allied together and are besieging an enemy city, but have not combined movement for the turn, do they get to make two separate siege attempts? What if there were three allies, or more? Non-combined players conduct individual and separate turns, so the rules would suggest that separate attempts are ok. However, this does not make "real world" sense, as a single siege conducted over a month, even if by a combined force, is unlikely to result in multiple breach attempts. This has recently come up in an pbemail game. Thoughts welcome. John.
