DWReese -> Does anyone know.....? (8/17/2019 4:00:56 AM)

I am playing a scenario (I don't want to say which one so as to not reveal any secrets), and I'd like to know if you have encountered a situation whereby the scenario designer has placed a group of ships on a plotted course (with a designated LEAD SHIP) and then have that lead ship become disabled (or sunk)? I am currently experiencing that, and with the lead ship now stationary due to damage, all of the other members of the group have all reverted to zero knots. This probably occurs because they were on a plotted course instead of a mission. Has anyone else experienced that? If so, do those ships eventually begin moving again, or do they have to wait for the LEAD SHIP to sink before designating another new LEAD SHIP? Would this have happened if it had been issued an actual mission as opposed to merely a plotted course? I could obviously spend hours testing all of this myself, I was just hoping to tap into the knowledge of some scenario designers who have already dealt with this to get some quick answers. Doug
