This post is for Hubert or one of the development team I am still working on a Mod I started for AOD when it was first released, it uses my Seaways loop system, many additional unit types via minor countries and varying values of evasion to reduce the chance of damage to larger units as opposed to smaller ones. I vaguely remember that I reported a bug to you in about 2013 that related to sea transport for rocket units and that you might have given me some sort of patch or workaround. Unfortunately that particular PC bit the dust soon after and my work on the mod stopped until you re-released AOD last year. The bug is strange in that the AI is capable of loading rockets onto a sea transport but humans are not given the option. As I use a very much enhanced rocket unit to serve as a nuclear weapon system for the Allies it is rather frustrating that I cannot shoot it at anything worthwhile from the US mainland! I remember that I did find the error back then but I also remember using transport for the rocket unit after that, so you must have helped me in some way. You may remember that I am an enthusiast for loops so, if you cannot fix it, I might make a land loop from the US to Tinian or Guam through which the nuclear bomb can pass. However, I would prefer the greater flexibility that a transport facility would give me e.g. to use nuclear weapons in Europe as well. Please let me know if there was/is a fix to this restriction. By the way in my continued development to help the AI to use loops I have found quite a few issues with the loops specifically designed for the AI to use in the standard version of AOD particularly from North America. I could let you have details of these if you are interested although I guess most players would be unaware of the impact. Regards Mike
