Thanks you, looks very promising and interesting.
i'm very pleased for the scenarios. I played about 200 but still have many others to try.

ultradave -> RE: The King is Back (9/3/2019 11:18:53 PM)

Excellent. I have had CMANO since the beginning. I have no problem paying a bit for a new version. We've received from the developers years and years of updates to the game engine, new platforms, updated user interface items, for no charge over the years.

Primarchx -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 12:55:58 AM)

Of course, I'm in.

1nutworld -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 1:09:04 AM)

I for one am Thrilled to hear this news, and couldn't be more excited. Just go ahead and take my money now.

Thanks to the Devs for listening to the community and making this already incredible sim, even better! [&o]

For those of you that want "everything" for nothing, I'm sorry you have no appreciation for the work done by the team, new and old.

lumiere -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 1:35:35 AM)

I'm bit away from the Forum and first saw this...[X(]

Dragnaath -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 1:46:46 AM)

Can't wait. Please set up pre-orders asap.

daveoreno -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 1:51:52 AM)

WOW... Great news!!

IICptMillerII -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 1:58:42 AM)

I'm extremely excited for this. I've always hoped that the integrated TacView feature would come to Command. That alone will be worth the price of admission to CMO for me. All the other new and improved features are great as well. I love CMANO and I can't wait to see how CMO improves upon it. I just hope we don't have to wait too long to get our hands on it!

Dide -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 2:31:02 AM)

Great... :-)

HaughtKarl -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 4:07:47 AM)

Oh man this is fanatastic news. We're finally going to have Tacview support! [&o][&o][&o]

Will this bad boy be released in 2020?

daft -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 8:05:27 AM)

Really amazing news! Very happy to see a follow up and really excited about TacView integration.

TheCabal -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 8:31:04 AM)

TacView Advanced............. 62€ yeah, great. This damn "all-is-gold"-niche price-mentality.

Lowlaner2012 -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 8:37:48 AM)

Cabal where did you find the pricing info, I have looked everywhere?

Cheers

The price for TacView Advanced can be found on the TacView page if you click on "buy".

Andrea G -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 9:48:12 AM)

Well, finally ships would be able to negotiate restricted waters without being trapped, also no more objectives underwater even if placed on "land" :-)
Realistic comms between subsurface and surface units.
Terrain will influence movement, spotting, protection.
If all of this is true... C:MO will certainly be worth the bucks.
If you add a completely rewritten program to start new upgrades witout messing up other functions, it is really a reboot not a simple upgrade.
I greatly prefer to buy such a new game (with a discount [;)] ) than little upgrades now and then.
As far as I can see the Devs are doying all the best to migrate contents from CMANO to C:MO.
It will be a new golden age!
There is only thing I really hate... those : between C and MO

snowflake -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 10:07:12 AM)

Is this based on actual inside information from the developers? In that case, it answers the question.

So what is this? Is it an upgrade to CMANO? Or an entirely different game?

If the latter, why did the CMANO team decide to go that route over upgrading the current game? What does it mean for the future of CMANO - is support coming to an end? Will CMO be backwards comparable with the hundreds of existing CMANO scenarios?

I know this reply won't answer his questions, but to those who are familiar with the Arma series, his questions are akin to the questions asked when Arma III was announced (with the Arma II users wondering what will happen to Arma II). And thus you already know the answers to his questions (if you're an Arma player).

sarjen -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 12:46:10 PM)

Very good news. I am excited. And its great that any old scenario can be played in the new version too.

Any hint towards an ETA would be appreciated.

c3k -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 1:41:45 PM)

Take my money.

;)

This is exciting news. Good job, devs.

Eggstor -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 2:23:25 PM)

I know what I'm getting for Christmas (hopefully early).

JPFisher55 -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 2:24:42 PM)

I'm in. I'll buy it when released. Just curious, will CMO handle ground combat or logistics differently than CMANO?

Duck Doc -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 2:31:35 PM)

Is there a new mission planner in The King?

Yes. We'll probably need to do a dedicated article on this because the changes are significant.

If you mean the AMP no, but there is an improved version of the existing one, with great emphasis on showing "just enough" options as relevant (e.g. don;t show settings for ships if the selected mission has only aircraft assigned). The aim is to avoid flooding the player with too many options and settings.

Nice!

xnavytc -> RE: The King is Back (9/4/2019 4:56:11 PM)

Very Excited for this!!!!!! Will there be new tutorials for this, like tutorial for using the new chain of wars additions, (ie aircraft damage etc.) Since there are very few scenarios using this additions in CMANO.

Really looking forward to this! A small request, will we be able to have several Database entries open at the same time? I.e either to compare platforms or to check out the details of a sensor or weapon?
