ORIGINAL: Mind First of all I love games in boxes a lot. I have in boxes ARMA, Combat Mission, Hearts of Iron, Total War series and much more. From almost 30 Matrix games which I own just 6 of them are box editions. I would like to buy some more Matrix boxes, but I started thinking if it was reasonable. Since Steam, GOG, GamersGate and other digital games sellers are appeared you almost don't need any DVD to play games and many DVD don't work on Windows10 and so on. To buy nice colour boxes for collection? To buy for sale? A lot of Matrix games boxes even have no printed manual inside. What is your opinion and experience? warspite1 I used to like the boxes. But now they just take up room. However the proper hardback manuals are where it's at. ALL games should come with these. World In Flames, TOAW, DC:Barbarossa, Strategic Command, etc, etc. But the king of all hardback manuals is World In Flames. Mrs W had to move into the spare room when they arrived, nothing separates me from my hardback World In Flames manuals - and the bed isn't big enough for all of us. Even if you don't buy the game - get the manuals - you won't look back....
