I find the show visible hexes in rather less helpful than it use to be. I can barely tell the visible from the not visible in most maps of East/West/Rising Sun of the new John Tiller Campaign series on my Windows 7 and Windows 10 computers. Is it because of higher screen resolution? Is there a way to adjust the game graphics or options to get better results?

Also highlighting units with colors barely show up no matter what color I choose.

Can you post some screenshots of your issues, please, just so I can see what you're seeing?

That is also a problem. When I do screen capture, the visible hexes are clearly visible in the screen shot but not in the actual game screen. I am unsure how i can convince you. Maybe it is my computer graphics or gamma setting, though I do not notice any ability to adjust those settings in the game. Does anyone else find this issue, especially in rough terrain, the 'visible' spots barely stand out from the rest, forest hexes do change with more 'shadows' i suppose.

This is what I see, do you see this?

Ah, i see that also for a snow covered scenario, but when I try the East Front tutorial for Reconnaissance in the summer/fall colors the contrast is much much smaller. Also if I look down at the screen instead of straight on, it is a little better. Thanks.
