Like the battle at BEST, I decided NOT to defend the bridge.

> GRAVE is considered a MAJOR bridge with a very long span and 3 VL's
> I was not going to take any chances. My decision was to destroy the bridge as soon as possible!

I kept the infantry units in the bldg.'s on the north side of the bridge. That left the (2) Light AA guns and MG34 to delay until the bridge was ready for demolition.

The main action occurred as the allies began to advance into the (southside) AA gun's LOS:

Soon after, the Allied mortar fire began with good accuracy as the advancing team is forced to withdraw

Another interesting thing that happened was when a team of Allied soldiers appeared to advance on the small building that was nearby. (before disappearing out of sight).

A couple minutes later they reappeared and began advancing towards the bridge entrance. Time for action!

The only thing I could do now was to send (AA and MG34) DIRECT FIRE into the bridge entrance and hope that would delay them.

The Light AA gun received sporadic mortar fire but nothing serious.

I kept up the direct-fire attacks until they began to conserve ammo. Just like at BEST, there was no explosion graphic but received the confirmation message.
