I still had my precious MG42's set to ambush and did not notice that they were taking direct fire from (I believe), the American position waaaaaaaaay down the road. Changing their orders to DEFEND, I exchanged fire for a bit and decided to pull them out for a quick recovery. [image]local://upfiles/58671/6BD143D511FC43CDA3E4CC8DE9CB3B7A.jpg[/image]

Both MG42's now have a clear LOS into the American position and stop any advance towards the bridge... > Earlier, the US trooper who had surrendered (he had been following the ad-hoc team) eventually walked across the Heumen Bridge (with hands up and white handkerchief in hand) and headed towards the German position.
