Falken -> Scuttle command - When does it show up? (10/28/2019 1:41:49 AM)

Hi,

I'm currently in a really great game with Wineguy using the BigB BMOD. We are currently in Sept '42 in our game.

We have a situation where I need to scuttle some of my midget submarines. Won't go into that detail as to "why", but it needs to be done to resolve an issue that we are having with our game.

Anyway, I've been trying to figure out how to "scuttle" a ship at will. For some reason, the "Scuttle" button isn't showing up.

Is there some algorithm that is used for the button to show up? (i.e. battle damage levels for FLT, or DMG or ENG?)
I have used it before, but for some reason, can't remember "when" it allows you to do it.

Thanks

Yes, there is and yes it is based upon cumulative damage. It is in the manual somewhere.

I could not find a figure attached to the line in the manual that says a ship can be scuttled if it has suffered serious damage.
In my experience that is around 90 system damage or about 85 flood or fire damage.

Thanks for the feedback.... Did try the manual but could not find it... I'll keep an eye on the damage numbers. thanks again.
