ORIGINAL: comsolut Seriously? Then at the risk of getting jumped on by the forum, you need to test patches more rigorously! While restarting a game may be a pain, your solution would mean we had to wait months for a patch. It's far faster and more thorough if we the community stress test the patches than waiting for one guy to first code changes and then spend months trying to stress test it all by himself. By making it a community effort it also allows everyone a chance to chime in on fixes/changes that occur in real time instead of just a small team of a few beta testers. That means as many different solutions get aired here as possible and we don't end up in a situation where an unpopular change gets hard coded into the game behind closed door and then a community effort needs to speak against it later to try and get it removed or changed. Yes its a pain in the early days, but I think we all see what a gem this game is going to be in the end, so join in and be a part of the solution and understand teething pains are just a part of the process. Or simply stick to version 1.00 until a stable patch has run long enough for you to feel comfortable installing it. Jim
