Adam106 -> ESM / RWR geolocation and tech level? (11/11/2019 5:11:33 PM)

Modern ESM / RWR systems such as HTS R7, the F-22’s ALR-94, F-35’s ASQ-239 and others etc have the ability to passively geolocation radar emitters to one extent or another. The exact extent and accuracy of such capabilities are obviously very sensitive, but CMANO doesn’t seem to model it at all. You can triangulate with multiple aircraft but I’m pretty sure an F-16 with the HTS should be able to geolocate on its own - should it not? I do notice that RWR have tech levels such as ‘early 1990’s’ , late 1990’s, ‘early 2000’s’ etc. What exactly does this influence in the simulation? Bearing accuracy ambiguity? Speed of ambiguity area reduction? Playing with some of the 5th gen platforms feels like they’re toned down compared to what they should be capable of. Thanks.
