Infierno -> RE: Unity of Command II (11/13/2019 2:22:55 AM)

Loving this so far. I think anyone who disliked the first game for being too "puzzle-y" should be happy with this title. The addition of HQ units, deployable supply depots, and persistent units/support helps add flexibility to how you complete missions. Also, infantry is a lot more useful than it was in the first game, especially with the addition of special suppressive attacks. This feels like a proper Panzer General successor with great graphics and enough nuance to stand out from your average operational lite wargame. I didn't care a whole lot for the first game except as a beer-n-pretzels game to play for a few minutes at a time, but they knocked it out of the park with this installment -- I can see myself spending a ton of time with the campaign and the editor.
