I started the operation Mateur as the Germans. On the force selection tab, I have 0/2 support units but there are no support units available in the force pool to choose from. Is this normal???

Yes, there are a few battles where the Axis do not have support units at all. I believe both Hill 350 and Hill 278 in the Mateur Operation are like this, as well as Gelaferallo in Sicily.

Then why doesn't it read 0/0 instead of 0/2? And why is it when you try to begin the battle the warning pops up that you didn't select all your units???

Wow...don't know what to say to that. I was stating my opinion which is pretty much fact. The problem you are having is way down the list of what is important to this game and in reality has zero impact to the game. As it was not intended to be played on axis side anyway. But go on insulting everybody that has an opinion differing from yours

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize you took on the responsibility of ranking users questions about the game. I asked a question about the game and you chose to inform me how insignificant it was. Thank you for your that. In the future maybe I should refer any questions to you so you can tell me if they're important enough to ask. Also, I apologize for playing the game wrong by choosing the OpFor.

I guess that's the joys of text instead of speech, but regardless, abusing other forum members is sub-par. I would like to think this little spectacle is now over and we can all move on and let the devs respond to the OP in due course.

Apology accepted... Look, bagpipe, you seem like a knowledgeable, hard core gamer. I am not. I played Diablo on battle.net back in the day and Day of Defeat on Steam for a couple of years with my sons when they were in high school/Army/Air Force. I've also played the majority of Close Combat games over the last 2 decades with Wolfenstein, Doom, Duke Nukem and a couple of those type thrown in and that's it. I've played about 5 Close Combat multiplayer games in total. I'm no expert but I bought this game with a certain expectation that is not being met. I'm only trying to point out problems that I see with my limited expertise in hopes that someone is merely adding them to the ever growing to do list. If you had given me some positive input rather than to dismiss my question as invalid or unimportant, I would not have had the response that I ended up having. I hope we can continue to have POSITIVE dialog in this forum (I didn't have to look up the definition) in the future. Are we good???
