Instead of full screen? I've tried alt+tab and while that works, the game freezes up after (and the next time I launch it's not windowed)

I noticed this, too. I play on an ultra-wide monitor, so it would be nice to be able to arrange the Message and TacView Windows off to the side of the main Window.

Alternatively, from the top menu: View --> Toggle Full Screen / Windowed

Am I supposed to be able to re-size main window after that because at present I can't on my install. Also the 'windowed' setting doesn't seem to apply to the startup screen after enabling it, so on startup it go full-screen till one loads in.

I can use Alt+Enter to windowise the main game screen once I'm past the initial menu, and it will stay like that on subsequent restarts. The initial load & menu screens stay fullscreen, though.

yes it would be nice to have also the initial screen in windows...
