1. There is a bug-fix update being built. That means that the TOAW executable is finished, and Matrix is making the installation executable for it. Ralph and I don’t create that software. We have to wait for Matrix to complete it. Unfortunately, we missed the deadline window to get such things out before the holidays. So, it probably won’t be back to us for release till after the holidays. And then we’ll still have to test it out. We’ve had many false starts on the release due to many issues with the build – not just further bugs to fix, but the build is complicated by the need to handle both Matrix and Steam installations.

Not sure to understand, do you mean each TOAW executable build done is, in fact, the end result of a Matrix compilation?

The game executable, Opart 4.exe, is created by Ralph. But the installation program (that contains that file plus most every other file) is created by Matrix.

What it says is that the executable has been passed on to Matrix. Matrix is wrapping it into an installation program.

Been this way since I can remember, that can of course be sometimes a problem with holidays.
Anyhow we are about to get a patch, doesn't matter if it comes before or after the holidays.

In regards to additional team members, I doubt MG would simply take someone on board for programming.
But maybe a "public relations officer" would be an idea, it's bad if people have to use their time to take care of the community instead of working on the game.

Well, since the build has been finalised and is being made into a patch installer by Matrix, could we see patch release notes?
