I figured out how to turn it on but never have been able to figure out how to switch it off. Does anyone know? It completely bogged down the game and ultimately I had to ctrl-alt-del to get out of it. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

It doesn't stop when you close the LOS-tool window ?

I have the same problem but not for all units. Sometimes if i switch between units it will go away. But there is no check mark in the drop down menu nor does is it go away once you close the window.

No. I tried it during “The Battle of Palmdale” scenario from the Community pack. I scrambled the F-86s and decided to use the LOS tool and it never went away. The planes flew with it on for a few minutes then the sim bogged down. Sorry I don’t have a save.
