Hi I'm new to the game and still learning the ropes.
As the Axis powers, I conquered Sweden but I'm actually getting less resources than before. Can anyone explain why this is the case?
Thanks

Because when you conquer something you gain 1/3 of what you seized. So whilst a Neutral Sweden gives you 25 out of their 40ish, if you seize them you net like ~15!
In Warplan conquest is really a burden more than a benefit - sadly. It adds more territory to guard, with the same Logistic cap, with usually far less benefits than to leave the country neutral.

Thanks for the heads up. Well it reflects the reality on the ground as the disruption caused by an invasion just crippled the economy...

Production is modeled correctly. There are long term benefits in many categories that are balanced with what you want to accomplish from a country as large as France to one as small as Greece. The benefits add up in research, specialties, production, positioning, and land buffering.

Wait, how conquest affects research exactly?
I know Specialties are tied to Production. Positioning / Land Buffer is a given (ie, Axis do not invade Norway, then Allies can jump on it later when USA is around and conquer it easily for the position. USA Paras @ Oslo zone are not nice to have, and full air support for an invasion in Denmark)
