Summary:
SH-60 coming off patrol can not land on DDG and runs out of gas.
Description:
In the attached save, "Swamp Fox #2" (MH-60R) (#4356)is low on gas and is attempting to land on USS Wayne E Meyer (DDG 103 Truxtun [Arleigh Burke Flight IIA] (#2865), traveling at flank speed (35.0 kts). Prior to this save, I observed Swamp Fox make several passes trying to land, but bolter each time and come around for another pass. It now has a critical fuel level but still can not land. The DDG does not report any obstructions or other issues with its landing pad (in fact its other helo is already in the drink, I suspect from the same issue before I saw what was going on).
Workaround:
I ordered the DDG to "creep" speed, and on one try the H60 successfully landed after a few more attempts (though on another try it did not land, despite the DDG getting to below 20 kts on the H60s last attempt before running out of gas).
