Could the red text against the dark background be changed to something more readable? (for example the manual attack window - weapons in the middle column. Anything in red I can't read - at all. I lighter red or something completely different. I don't think it's just my partial colorblindness. It's just dark on dark. (And I have a MacBook Pro with Retina display so my display is really good).

That's much better, yes. Probably even better on screen, compared to screen print. This would be great if you can do that.
