Okayrun3254 -> Sidi_Rezegh_Bcgames_Okayrun3254 (12/7/2019 3:18:00 PM)

We started a new game. This scenario is more complex then previous scenarios I have played, and will test my skills to the max. I will be the Allies, and Bcgames the Axis. This first screen is turn 3, and shows some of the initial recon encounters, and some of the SA units, just east of El Cuasc. I need to find and keep tabs on the two powerful Axis Panzer divisions. Lets see how it goes.

This next screen is also turn 3, but a little farther north, north of Bir Gibni.

Okeedoke. Here's how things look from the Axis side at the end of GT1:

I pushed the reconnaissance units of the 15th and 21st Panzer Divisions forward to see if I could detect any western advance by the Brits into the desert. For the most part all I see is a Brit recce screen. We do however detect elements of the 2nd New Zealand Infantry Division in the vicinity of Sidi Omar. EW-Recce picks up elements of 7th Armoured Division moving north paralleling The Wire. Along the frontier defenses we see a force of unknown size approach the wire with at least one engineer unit. Assessment: Initial Allied effort is to flank frontier defensive positions in the west while pinning frontier forces in the east.

We deep-sixed this game to start over using Desert War v1.0.4.
