Macclan5 -> Merry Christmas - Seasons Greetings - to old and young alike (12/16/2019 7:25:07 PM)

I have been a member here 4 years now.

Since 2016 it says on my profile - although I got the game at Christmas - lurked in the background read threads, the manual, as I learned.

This has been and continues to be one of the most impressive online communities I have participated in. There is a very very broad base of informed and intelligent people. I have learned so much from military history through bird watching - always I find myself newly informed and challenging my reliance on conventional wisdom.

Thank you - deeply - for another thoughtful year !

Welcome to the many new comers.

I encourage you to participate here; equally I encourage you to learn through the game - learn through reading some of the forum posts linked - learn from mistakes and retries. There is no "one perfect outcome" or optimal setting / set up. Each game will be different with nuances.

The Learning Curve is only half as tough - as it is Fun !

I just heard from the real estate company that owns everything on the North Pole that they subdivided Santa's Workshop because they needed the space. Some other guy's business caught fire, so now next to Santa's Workshop is the Devil's Workshop. They seem to be getting along fine.

As a matter of fact, Santa has subcontracted out all the Baby Shark items to the Devil as he could no longer listen to that song. It's a big hit with the Devil's charges, they're all going doo doo doo doo doo doo.

Good thread Macclan5! Merry Christmas to all and I hope each of you takes some time to sit back and enjoy the season. Forget the commercialism - it's all about spending time with family and friends, virtual ones absolutely included! [sm=love0059.gif]

+1 on the grandkids keeping it fun. Starting to give them experiences rather than toys to cut down on the manufacture of junk, especially plastic junk.

Regardless of the religious holidays around this time, it's never a bad idea to suspend our moping about the state of things and wish everyone good will and happy times! Seasons best to you all!
