Figeac -> Interface colours (12/17/2019 9:38:35 PM)

Hi,

Is there or will be in the future any way to change the UI and windows (texts, background, etc) colours? I dont know if it is my eyes, but I cant play the game now for more than I few minutes because of this.

Thanks!

Hey Figeac,

What specifically is causing problems? Is it that the text is too small, colours are too bright/not bright enough, or something else? Perhaps a screenshot with some comments added would be a good way to point out some issues.

Currently there is a limited ability to tinker with the UI by modding some of the game files, but it's not supported (i.e. do so at your own risk). Adding extensive customisation of the UI is not high on the priority list, but if there's something we can fix to make the game more playable for you we definitely want to help.

The new color instead of the dark red text is a HUGE improvement. (for example the listings in the SHIFT-F1 attack panel that says you are out of range, etc.

I'm the exact opposite. I was never able to get into the old game because of the interface. I find the new UI to be more comfortable to look at. I'm just talking about the layouts and colors choices, not the game interface itself.

When I first saw the CMO interface I really struggled to come to terms with it, but after a while and getting use to it I now find it much better than CMANO. There has been some changes of colour through the builds which has improve the visuals.

Is there any way to get the buttons at the top to fit on the page without having to minimise the right hand menu/object menu?
