Patrol zone = Check
Persecution zone = Check

Aircraft still however fly miles out of their way to investigate unknown "Yellow" targets for no obvious reason. This bug has been in place since CMO launch.

Save attached Watch the F-15's flying west to check on the chinese fleet for no good reason

What version are you using? I thought this was fixed a few iterations ago.

I'll try this. But this is a new behaviour. And I don't understand the terminology used. This is certainly NOT the behaviour of a patrol in CMANO. Why would they pursue unknown targets OUTSIDE their weapon range? e.g. several hundred NM in some cases ?

If this solves it. Then I'm happy but it does seem odd vs the previous version of the game.


EDIT: it does work, thanks guys. I still stand by my belief that this is not the same as it used to be and the description of the command is misleading now. It should say - "Investigate unknown targets regardless of patrol constraint"

The patrol mission I looked at had one unknown that was in weapon range of the patrol group. The range is from the edge of the patrol/persecution zone. This is same behavior as CMANO.
