Dimitris -> Command Modern Operations update - Build 1121.5 (1/14/2020 1:41:04 PM)

Download: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1KqlKCTvRX753bRFpsetY4MKTIgmm_B_c

To apply: Unzip contents on your CMO installation, overwriting as necessary.

This is a public beta. Standard disclaimers apply.

Changes from B1121.4
----------------------------------------

* The Land-cover, Relief-SRTM3 and BMNGv2/Relief-90 map layers now all use webp-format tiles (faster download and less disk space used).
* FIXED: Overly agressive air intercept mission
* Tweaks for fuel-discrepancy between airgroup lead & wingmen due to formation keeping (NOTE: To a large extent this is a RL phenomenon and unavoidable, however we also tweaked behaviors during group form-up and loiter and relaxed the formation precision threshold so that wingmen spend less time chasing their station)
* FIXED: When bypassing a waypoint, units were not applying the speed/alt/doctrine commands of that waypoint
* FIXED: ORBAT window takes a long time to show up in multi-thousand AU scenario
* FIXED: Fuel quantity text (on top of fuel progress bar) is difficult to read when fuel quantity gets low
* FIXED: Exception in "Edit Action" window when creating new "teleport in area" action if no units are pre-selected
* FIXED: Lua - some device wrappers not showing in public version
* FIXED: Some number keypad hotkey values missing

For the new map layers, do we need to clear the old files in cache/folder? Thanks.

Phobosdeimos71 -> RE: Command Modern Operations update - Build 1121.5 (1/14/2020 6:27:37 PM)

No, they use new sub-folders inside the cache folder, so you'll get them regardless.

If you want to save some disk space, you can now delete these folders:
[CMO]\WW\Cache\LandCover_300
[CMO]\WW\Cache\Relief_90
[CMO]\WW\Cache\Relief_SRTM3

FTBSS -> RE: Command Modern Operations update - Build 1121.5 (1/14/2020 8:27:10 PM)

When trying to open this update I get the error land-cover map files not found aborting.

Any help?

This means that the folder [CMO]\GIS\LandCover is missing. You probably need to re-install.

Thanks Dimitris but i have been having issues with unzipping the last two updates, when I tried again it now tells me there was a error overwriting shaders and extraction failed, I had this same error with build 1121.4

I tried using both winzip and 7-zip

giantsquid -> RE: Command Modern Operations update - Build 1121.5 (1/14/2020 10:34:07 PM)

As always a big thank you for the outstanding support!

fire-fox -> RE: Command Modern Operations update - Build 1121.5 (1/15/2020 1:51:08 PM)

thanks for the update - assuming these are cumulative with the other 1151 + beta's ?

Eggstor -> RE: Command Modern Operations update - Build 1121.5 (1/15/2020 3:56:17 PM)

It's cumulative as usual.

guanotwozero -> RE: Command Modern Operations update - Build 1121.5 (1/15/2020 4:08:08 PM)

No all my protection is disabled when I update CMO/CMANO don't worry about it I can wait for official release. I am sure it's something on my end as no one else has reported similar issue. Thanks for trying, and for the update you guys are the best!!!

truss51 -> RE: Command Modern Operations update - Build 1121.5 (1/16/2020 12:16:35 AM)

I had a similar issue. You might try downloading the newest WinRar version. It's free. Worked for me when my ancient WinZip gave errors.Good luck

michaelm75au -> RE: Command Modern Operations update - Build 1121.5 (1/16/2020 7:03:43 AM)

You could also just unzip it into a temporary folder (retaining zip folder structure) and then try copying the contents to CMO.

Also, if your Steam/CMO install dir is on the C: drive, make sure you're logged on as administrator - lesser users may be blocked from over/writing into Prog86 subdirs. 7-zip works fine for me as an admin.
