FTBSS -> [Logged] AOE Issue? (2/9/2020 5:14:31 AM)

So I made a scenario with a CVBG crossing the Atlantic to take up station off the coast of Northern Norway to threaten the Kola peninsula. on the way across I used an AOE Supply to replenish my destroyers escorts and sent the AOE (now empty of fuel for the destroyers)to a single unit port (Portsmouth, UK)The AOE fully loaded its fuel oil for itself but when I left port and re-joined the CVBG the escorting frigates and destroyers were not able to replenish fuel from the AOE.

My question is is there a way to replenish the replenishment fuel to an AOE/AOR tanker in port or is it a one shot that i should just lua a new tanker when the AOR has docked?

Might be wrong here, but I don't think a single port can replenish a ship. I think you need a couple of components, in a port to do this. I always thought you needed full constructed port to resup

It does fill the ships fuel with the single unit port so the oiler and its destroyer escort were able to fill their tanks but I thought this would allow the oiler to top off the cvbg after its own tanks were full.

Thanks for the reply though!

I'm no expert, but if you can fully resupply a vessel by slipping a couple of cables and hoses between two ships I would imagine you can do the same or better by tying up to a pier at any normal port, as long as the proper supplies are available.
