Playing as Allies: When viewing the air replacement screen, you see a column for replacement rate and for production rate. The column for the production rate is usually 0. It would seem that this is telling me that none of these planes are being produced yet in this case, I know that I am receiving F4F-4's because I see them reinforcing my depleted air units every so often. It would seem that if they are being produced there would be a number under the production column? Perhaps you could help me understand what this is really telling me? Thanks.

Most allied production is abstracted. But there's a little production on map....GP

Off map production as well as other sources versus the on map factories which can be damaged and/or destroyed by enemy action.

If memory serves the aircraft replacement rate are warplanes being produced in off-map factories (the eastern US, the U.K.) The production rate is aircraft being produced in factories on map in places like Los Angeles, San Diego Seattle, etc.. That's why the Japanese have no aircraft replacement rate. All of their aircraft inventory and engines is produced by on map factories.
