el cid again -> 68th Mountain Rifle Division (2/27/2020 2:15:03 PM)

Topic title changed from Motor Rifle Division - a mistake.

Slot 7460.

This unit spent the entire Pacific War period in Iran. 1941 to 1946.

It is wrongly listed in stock and most mods, including RHS.

It should be removed.

This was no oversight by the AE designers.

68th Mountain Rifle Division was identified as a possible Soviet reinforcement unit in case of an (early) Japanese attack on Manchuria or in Central Asia.

And how do you know it? There are many errors in the Soviet data/OOB in the game. So it's a just another one.

This unit was not used as reinforcement for Moscow battle, Stalingrad battle etc. Why do you think that it should be used from Iran against Japanese invasion into Soviet Far East? There are already enough local units (and new forming units) for prevent it.

Kereguelen was one of the OOB designers. As stated, it was not an oversight, but a design decision. Big difference.
