eightroomofelixir -> Regrading the Territories of Austria and Poland after the A-H Collapsed (3/1/2020 10:45:19 PM)

I have finished the Entente campaign in version 1.01.03, and noticed several details about the collapse of A-H and the forming of new nations: 1. In the south, Austria still holds large territories, including Bosnia, Dalmatia, Croatia, Banat, etc. These would be handed to Serbia historically. 2. In the west, Austria still holds South Tyrol, the region which Trento and Bruneck belongs to. Historically it was ceded to Italy after the A-H collapse, along with Trieste and Pola. 3. In the north, the region around Jablunkov Pass now become a salient of the newly formed Poland. Historically this region belongs to Czechoslovakia after WWI, Poland only took control of it after the annexation of Zaolzie in 1939. Similarly, the hex west of Lupkov Pass should also belong to Czechoslovakia rather than Hungary. On a side note, as in the top-right corner of the picture, the newly formed Poland force around Kraków, especially the Piłsudski HQ, is too closed to the German border. In fact the German AI took Kraków only one turn after the creation of Poland. I wonder if some changes can be made to increase the defensiveness of the Poland Army, or to simply move them a bit away from the border? Also, although Russia can purchase Poland units, it seems that Poland army cannot be upgraded to Russian standard, unlike other minors under the Russian control such as Czechoslovakia and Romania. Is this situation intended? [image]local://upfiles/68942/987CD29E27E54DE0AA318A0668B4298D.gif[/image]
