MHEITHORN -> How to speed up game play? (3/9/2020 2:42:13 PM)

Hi. Does anyone have suggestions for how I can
speed up game play? Movement of units is pretty slow.

Thanks

You can try Cheat Engine. It will slow down or speed up game play.

Usually it is used to slow down the action in first person games if one finds a level too difficult to complete.

It is also used in RT games to slow the action down to a reasonable speed so units can be managed more efficiently.

You can also speed things up, however I have not used it that way. Link below.

If your PC is slow you can use a free program like Razer Cortex to free up resourses. You'll find it here https://www.razer.com/cortex
I use it myself on my old Laptop

MHEITHORN, I have a suggestion, avoid large scenarios and campaigns. You will experience
no problems with game speed with the small to medium scenarios; you will enjoy the game so
much more without the delays. The number and type of maps, number of AFV's, number of infantry
units, length of scenario all contribute to slowing down performance. Lowering visibility helps
a lot but that creates other problems/compromises. You are not alone. My i7, 4.4GHz, with 16GB RAM,
and a GTX 1070 graphics card with 8 GB of memory cannot run the large scenarios.[:(]
