xafemo -> About the overrun (7/1/2001 2:49:00 AM)

Hello friends! In the first place, a thousand pardons for my English. Well, to the grain, I have been these days proving the last version of SPWaW, but I don't know how many points of movements I need to reserve to make the Overrun, because until with 4 puntos of movement it doesn't allow to be carried out this acción. Is somebody able to sum up me this point? Thank you in advance. xafemo@hotmail.com

:) [ July 01, 2001: Message edited by: Fidel Helms ] [ July 01, 2001: Message edited by: Fidel Helms ]

Xafemo, As far as I'm concerned there is no need for you to apologize for less than perfect English. I managed to understand your question perfectly as will everyone else. Unfortunately I don't have the answer. After reading the first reply from Fidel Helms, I still don't have the answer. I don't want to start World War III here, but my opinion is that English is of very common use on this board. I would appreciate reading replies in that language even if you had to do it twice to get it there. How about translating that answer for the rest of us Fidel? That was an excellent question. Sorry to ramble on. John Galt

Hola Xafemo ! Como dice Fidel, Venceremos! ... Ooops ! ... NO! Saludos a Todos, Cona. P.S.

Briefly, John: we don't really know either. Cona and I seem to agree that you need 50% of your movement allowance in order to overrun with vehicles, but infantry melee seems to be different. Also, I see posts in Finnish and Italian all the time, so why not Spanish?

Yah, I've noticed that if you're unsupressed that you can just melee sometimes. I think it's like the way assaults used to be. Tomo

Last night I was one hex away at the start of 2 turns with an undamaged tank against an entrenched position. Each time I was given the message "not enough shots.....". My point here is that I planned these overruns and then for some reason the tank wasn't capable of it. And I did this with 2 different tanks.
