I'm looking for old game (1980~1990) PC military realtime strategy game which depicts the air conflict in Middle East. I was too young around that time so I didn't know what was going on in the game, but I just played anyhow. 1. The most characteristic feature of this game is, airplanes are depicted as "bar"s. Striped bars with different colors. You could call this as "2-color striped straw". One straw represents one airplane. Interceptors, fighter-bombers, bombers, AEWs... had different colored "striped straw". As they fly higher, striped straw become longer. If they fly low, striped straw become shorter. (Helicopters had really small length of straws) Enemy planes are depicted as white and red striped straws. 2. It is 2D top-view realtime strategy game, no hex no turns. Only airplanes are depicted as "straws". No ground or navy units were involved. 3. Air battle was simplified. When two bars converge, then one diminishes. But I can't remember if there was air-to-air missile description. 4. Scud and SAMs and AAA were implemented in the game as far as I remember. 5. The game only depicts the conflict of Middle East nations. I remember, it contains Gulf war and all Arab-Israeli conflicts and all other middle east conflicts. One of the small easy scenarios I remember was Bahrain + Qatar vs UAE. I even won that scenario as Bahrain + Qatar. 6. It even had the concept of supply. Factorys were depicted and player should manage supply. 7. You could win or lose with "air superiority" condition or "supply" condition. I cannot recall if there were any other victory / defeat condition. Then screen showed Arab generals shakes hands. Anyone remember such kind of game?
