ADMIRAL3 -> RED STEEL DLC (4/2/2020 7:51:15 AM)

Any news about release date or did I loose it?

bru888 -> RE: RED STEEL DLC (4/6/2020 12:57:31 AM)

On April 2, the same day that you posted, I received an e-mail inviting me for (more) beta. In the text was this quote:

The latest DLC for Order of Battle, "Red Steel", has been in beta for a longer period that usual, this is because it has coincided with the introduction of a new UI framework under the hood, which has needed some time to bed in.

This means that the User Interface is much more performant and also allows us to support 4k resolutions! However, as with all new systems, there were some bugs in there and the game now needs a final shakedown.

Question about the Soviet trilogy.

Is it intended that we could not transfer units that have successfully completed the first campaign (Red Star) to the second (Red Steel, which I have just started) and maybe even the last (Red Storm)?
It's all the more frustrating while it was perfectly possible in the German tetralogy (Blitzkrieg, Panzerkrieg, Sandstorm, Endsieg).
In advance, thank you for your answer.

With the last patch 8.6.1, you can see the 3 Soviet campaigns linked together by arrows:

Hi, Terminator

Shame on me!

I had forgotten that the export of the core of my army was NOT done automatically at the end of a campaign ...
You must open the leftmost tab at the bottom of the final screen (after the display of the Victory window) in order
to save UNITS and at the same time, save the precious SPECIALIZATIONS.

Thank you for your quick response which prompted me to question my erroneous finding.

Best regards,

LN59

The Army Core could be automatically saved or there could be a reminder to remember to save at the end of the campaign.
