Loading the attached save fails with "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". Playing CMO version 1.01.11343 (latest steam version).

This issue happened sometime during my playing of the Don of a new era scenario (for the US side), all saves in the playthrough following some time are broken.

If you apply the current public update and resume from the most recent save, does the problem happen again ?

Apologies, I should have phrased this a bit better:

The generated saves like that one that you posted are "unsalvageable", for lack of a better term. So if you try to load them even with the new updated you will still get the same error.

If you do a fresh playthrough of the scenario, with the updated build, does it again generate new corrupted saves?

I just suffered a CTD while playing a modified Black Tiger V. The CTD did happen during a heavy airstrike containing dozens of SDBs, so that's somewhat understandable. However, all the Autosaves and a save file about 5mins old at the time of the crash now get the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error pop-up when I try to load them.
I don't suppose there's a fix?

As I'm not yet at 10 posts, I can't link the files but if it's possible to PM them, I can should that be helpful.

I'd suggest, as asked by the devs, to create a separate thread for an issue. Otherwise it can get lost in the wrong thread.
