Playing Axis vs. Allies Europe early Italian Option: I cornered two British headquarter units; after bombing and combat destroyed them and of course nothing, no report at the beginning of the turn. It would be nice to announce that such and such famous or infamous British or Allied commander was killed or captured.
As mentioned the game needs a little pizzazz!
I am in May of 1942 and I have not gotten any reports on any of MY commanders during battles, far and wide.

Commander combat rating is now 8.

Ticker tape sound, then short funeral dirge music.
"This communication from the office of General Wilhelm Keitel at High Command of the Wehmacht (OKH):
Today, sadly on the Russian Front, 16th Army General Gdl von Krosigk was killed at his headquarters at Zabeln when a Soviet fighter bomber ...."
