Sometimes I don't want to wait for infantry in cover to get killed as I blast them with a tank from distance. I'm playing against the AI. So I creep the tank up closer and closer to the infantry unit. Eventually, the infantry unit decides to close assault the tank and starts running out to the tank. As soon as I see the infantry start to move I back up the tank and keep backing it up. The infantry can't catch the tank and gets caught in the open and cut down by the tank's machine guns. I sometimes back the tank up several times as the infantry keeps chasing it in the open.
Since I have not played humans yet I don't know if the infantry unit decided on its own to close assault or the AI general ordered them to. Does anybody know?
I started with version 7 and went to 10. Soon I will hopefully have version 11.
