JFS737 -> Save current Map profile as personal bug? (4/17/2020 3:22:20 AM)

Hi, using 1142.2 and Windows 10... DB is DB3000 and v483. Not sure if it's a bug, but when I try to Save current map profile as personal, it does NOT save the "Show non-friendly range symbols" settings I like to use (Off). Running the game anew, and selecting a new or saved scenario does not save this preference.

Also while I'm at it, (Bug/feature?) it does not save the location of the (separate) Message log window that I prefer OR that I'd like it in RAW text.... I have to move it every time I open a scenario or start a new one and then also have to select RAW again. It would be great if this were saved in the "user Map profile" if possible.

It does seem to save the size of the separate message window though (Good). Also, I think it would be great if it saved the "Full screen" vs "run in windows" setting as well as the "Hide the shortcut bar" preferences.

Sorry, some are likely "Feature requests" as it says "Map profile" only but it seems intuitive to me that these "user preferences" should be saved.

Regards,

John

FWIW I've noticed the same things when I've used the "save profile" feature. Among other things, the unfriendly range circles never remains off when a scenario is restarted. Obviously not a game stopper but frustrating non the less.

I was told by the devs a while ago that the range circle setting is not part of the personal map profile setting. Not sure if that was supposed to change or not.

Well, good to know that it is WAD and not a bug.
