AtParmentier -> RA 4.0 Jap plane art somehow crashes scenario (4/20/2020 3:18:47 PM)

I've posted this before in the BTS test thread, but I'd like to know more about what can possibly cause this.
After downloading and installing the reluctant admiral 4.0 plane art files I coudn't load up any scenarios. After replacing the RA files with the original files the issue was fixed. To check which of the files were causing the problem I installed the allied side,top and alpha files and japanese files seperately. In this I found the problem in the Japanese files, though I'm not sure I can switch out the files seperately, and haven't tried to look in which of the side, top or apha files makes the game crash.
I'd like to have some opinions on how this could happen, I've downloaded the files several times to make sure it's not a corrupted download.
