Sir Robin -> No Planes Allowed? (7/23/2003 8:53:34 PM)

Finally updated UV to 2.30. I have been running 2.00 for a while now.

Downloaded and installed all the patches since 2.0 in order.

Playing 17 as the japs and noticed something wierd.

A symbol pops up showing a fighter flying towards me with a no smoking symbol around it.

At work so I have not had a chance to look thru all the changes yet.

I though it was a no aircraft present since at first it showed up on american bases.

Then it popped up on Shortland and one of my carrier groups.

What does it mean?

No planes allowed? They are working on the runways or something.

No smoking planes allowed? Yamamoto and Tojo have decided to sue the tobacco companies.

No air operations allowed? All the planes are taking a smoke break.

It's one of the changes in 2.3. It means no air ops in or out of that hex for that phase due to weather.

There is a graphics download (which I can't find at the moment) which will change those non-smoking airplanes into clouds which will make a little more visual sense.:)

And I thought it was only domestic US flights that were non smoking...
