I'm thinking of placing and order to get a game computer cobbled together (from old parts) for me from a small company far away. But It can't have a built in CD ROM player - it won't fit in the box. I need that to play the game. Can I buy a an external CD ROM player and plug it into a USB port? Will the game run that way?
These are the specs for the computer I will likely buy:
processor 3.2 Gighz i7 intel chip
RAM 16 GB
video card - at least 4 GB
512 GB SSD
1TB spinning hard drive
I need a new computer to make the game run close to real-time. This should do it, right? [&:]
