scout1 -> Logistics are not clear to me .... (5/2/2020 6:53:15 PM)

Still trying to wrap my head around identifying & understanding the competing "logistical" needs relative to
- New builds
- Repairs
- Upgrades
- per turn supply needs
- other ?

Is there anything that summarizes these needs within the game ?
Is there anything that permits an Excel export of data to permit us to slice and dice this ?

Same here, I am still not sure how many points I shall allocate to upgrade/repair units, especially when I advance in a research category and want to upgrade as fast as possible.

There are threads about this, so do a search (and yes the search of the forum is not very...user friendly).

For me it's quite simple. I first look at what I think is needed for my plan. Before I build, I check how much room there is left in my army; the logistics cap prevents you from building infinitely. Early game this is hardly any issue, but later it can be.

What I don't need goes to upgrade/reinforce. Before a great offensive new builds are down to save up for PP's, to replace the inevitable losses. In winter time when things are usually quite slow on the front, new builds are higher.

Logistics is simply a limit to how many units you can field.

This might help, it's a chart I put together a while back. Basically supply is unlimited unless you are overseas from a supply source link (no direct rail link back to a source). Then you are limited to what supply is available at the ports you control each turn. This per turn supply limit can be interdicted unlike supply that is linked to a source via rail so don't view the chart as what you can expect each turn, just what you might get each turn.
